This is your SteamID or Username, there is no importance at this field to have your steamID at all. You can find this by going to your community profile on steam.
Violator's Username or SteamID:
This is an important field... any player can change their username at any time to confuse the players. If you can get the SteamID this is better. To get the steamID, whiel the violator is in-game, bring down the ~ button, usually found above the TAB button, then type userlist. You will be abel to view all the players in the console and their unique steamIDs. Write down the steamID corresponding to the violators username you witnessed.
The list we display [Player Nickname]/ Numerical Steam ID. The string of numbers beginning 76xxxx is their true steam ID.
Server / Map Name / Date of Match:
This will help you incase the demo that you have uploaded to us has corrupted. We can then go and download for ourselves to help get the information needed.
Demo Recording:
The demos that are needed should be provided by the Server Admins and the GSPs (Game Server Providers). They should be displaying a demoURL in a server message. You need to note down the IP you were on and the time and date to contact the Server Admin or the GSP to get the demo.
How and where to upload the Demos:
The demos are to be uploaded to the ROC site, to upload them, please zip or rar the file. This makes it easier and quicker to upload. The demo is uploaded when the report is submitted.
How do I watch demos myself?
To watch demos please download the demo of the server URL, you may need to unpack it from a zip or rar folder, once this is done please place the demo file inside C:\Users\Administrator\Documents\My Games\HOMEFRONT\GCGame\Config\Demos folder. Yoiu then must run HomeFront game, go to create a game and look for recorded games. Click on the one you have just downloaded and watch.
Are screenshots needed?
No screenshots are not necessary to file a report, though they can help as all evidence is good. Only the demos will determine if the person is guilty or not.
Once a report is submitted, what happens?
Once a report is submitted to us, we will check to see if a demo is included, if no demo is submitted but a time, server ip, map and date is submitted then we can search for the demo ourselves. Once we have watched the demo and determined the person was cheating, we will add him to the Global Bans List.
Will I be notified if the player is banned?
We do not automatically sent an email out saying the person is banned, there is an option on our Search Reports page that allows you to check if a person you reported has been added or is still in the system being processed.
What are the costs associated with Rules of Combat?
